Breedon Hall is an ideal whole house rental for groups of friends or families - though we do not accept single sex groups unless with prior agreement with ourselves. (No stags or hen parties though.)

Located in the idyllic peaceful village of Breedon on the Hill, almost plumb in the centre of England, with excellent road, rail and air connectivity to enable ease of travel for those coming from a distance.

This is a manor house rather than a 'hall', located within the National Forest and a 5 minute walk from Breedon golf course, or a 20-minute walk to spanking new Breedon Priory Spa. Nearby Melbourne, only 3 miles away, is a delightful small south Derbyshire town, rapidly acquiring a reputation for the arts and its foodie reputation grows each year.

Sleeping upto 10-12 adults, the house has been renovated to create a spacious family home yet not so big it overwhelms or is difficult to keep warm. Perfect for friends, 3-generational families and small corporate groups. It is contained within its own perimeter wall, in the centre of the village, preserving not only its privacy but affording security as well. (This is however not a house where mobility impaired people would feel comfortable as there are no bedrooms on the ground floor.)

The house amenities includes a separate games room, ideal for the younger generation, and has (by separate arrangement, three, 2-bed self-catering holiday let mews cottages that can increase occupancy to a max 22 persons), all within the demesne of the main house.

The beautiful, spacious family kitchen has been designed with a large family in mind, fully equipped with all modern appliances, able to sit 8 down in comfort and has an auxillary kitchen as well to alleviate all cooking operations from the principal kitchen. Alternatively enjoy eating in the dining room for up 14/16 inside, or out in the garden in good weather.

Enquire about catering options for corporate teams or those not wanting to cater for themselves as we can supply cooks and waiting staff.

There is a choice of where to relax after supper, either in the main drawing room with a wood stove or in the TV 'snug' room with a 65" SmartTV.  Both rooms have lots of comfy sofas to sink down into after a busy day. Or head to the games room for a fun game of table tennis, or darts.

There's a mix of twin, standard double, superking and king sized beds upstairs, all individually decorated with luxury soft furnishings and all with a garden view. There are 5 en suites with 4 showers and 1 with a luxurious freestanding bath.
 
There is certainly enough to do at this delightful house with loads of varied walks from the door that are safe with dogs off the lead (Cloud Trail) and two NT Houses & Parks within walking distance (Calke Abbey & Staunton Harold).  A gentle wander out of the garden or front gates takes you to either the nearby The Three Horseshoes or the Holly Bush Inn for a well earned drink and/or meal.

No outside noise after 9.30pm out of respect for our neighbours.
